Drug Take Back Day

On Saturday, April 26th, 2025, from 10am to 2pm, the Niskayuna Police Department and DEA are partnering to host Drug Take-Back Day at Niskayuna Town Hall. Residents are encouraged to drop off expired, unused or unwanted prescription drugs during this event for safe and responsible disposal.

This is a free, anonymous and requires no appointment!

N-CAP also sponsors the medication disposal drop box located inside the Town Hall.

Please visit the DEA’s year-round collection site locator.

The FDA also provides information on how to properly dispose of prescription drugs. More information is available here: https://www.fda.gov/consumers/consumer-updates/where-and-how-dispose-unused-medicines.
