Drug Take Back Day

On Saturday, April 27th, 2024, Niskayuna Community Action Program in partnership with the Niskayuna Police Department and the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration will provide the public the opportunity to prevent substance misuse and theft by ridding their homes of potentially dangerous expired, unused and unwanted prescription drugs. Join us from 10am-2pm at the Niskayuna Town Hall! Thank you for helping make this a successful event.

N-CAP also sponsors the medication disposal drop box located inside the Town Hall.

Please visit the DEA’s year-round collection site locator.

The FDA also provides information on how to properly dispose of prescription drugs. More information is available here: https://www.fda.gov/consumers/consumer-updates/where-and-how-dispose-unused-medicines.
